Introducing Disciples United in Christ, a cooperative ministry between First Christian Church and Riviera United Church of Christ! The two congregations and denominations share many theological viewpoints and have a common focus to reveal God’s love through social justice initiatives.
The union of the two churches brings Riviera UCC back to Melbroune, where they were founded before moving to Palm Bay. Plus, sharing resources allows both congregations to have a larger impact in our Melbourne community than either church could have alone.
This is an exciting time time in the life of the Church Universal, as God is doing new things like bringing together aligned congregations into shared covenant. It is also an exciting time here at Disciples United in Christ as we forge a new future rooted in the desire to unite all Christians under the commands to love God, love our neighbors, and love ourselves. You are invited to come share in the wholeness that is created in sacred spaces of unity.
