At the heart of First Christian Church’s mission is our commitment to be a “movement for wholeness in a fragmented world.” As part of our baptismal call, we believe every Christian is called to bring the healing presence to the world in which we live.
To that end, we ask everyone who worships with us to consider the following questions:
Where in the world do you see brokenness or suffering?
How can you bring healing and wholeness to that situation?
We are so committed to helping our members make a difference in this world that in 2015 we began making it possible for members and friends of First Christian to apply for what we call Wholeness Ministry Grants. Since the beginning of this program, we provided over $250,000 through 150 ministries beyond our doors.
